Heads-up Poker Tournament
Please join us on September 26th for the First Annual Kenneth T. Mockalis Memorial Fund Heads up Poker Tournament. The tournament will fund the Kenneth T. Mockalis Memorial Fund, which will be providing a $2,500 scholarship to a deserving member of TKE at Merrimack College.
The tournament will take place starting at 3pm on September 26th at the British Club in Lawrence, MA. The format is designed for every level of player, even those who think a straight beats a flush has a chance of winning the tournament. Each player will be put up against 1 other player, if they win, they go on to face another individual player, similar to the NCAA Basketball Tournament. Players will be placed in divisions based on their poker abilities. If you are new to the fantastic game of poker, feel free to come by early at 2pm so you can learn the game, very easy.
The Entry Fee for the tournament will be $75. The first place winner will receive 40% of the pot, second place 10%, and the big winner will of course be the Scholarship fund with 50%.
Please pass the word around, we are set up for 64 players so spots will fill up quick.
